I lived in New York City for 13 years, where I acquired the street knowledge and unique interpersonal communication to write about the city. I was an actor, playwright, worked for cable TV, and entered into the hard working, fanciful dream world of being a bartender in swank restaurants and everyday transient establishments that poets have written about for centuries. Oh, I was also a computer programmer just to keep the record straight.
I wrote this book because it was easy to place myself in the mind of the main character, Henry Boyle, having worked previously in Law Enforcement. I believe it to the first step to educate, as well as entertain readers that there is something terribly wrong with the institution of our government---not the system, but the warped people inside it willing to sell themselves to the highest bidder, regardless of how it affects innocent people looked upon as puppets, whose strings are controlled by the dark forces who disguise themselves as light bearers for the hope of tomorrow. I also believe that I am the one to write the book "Lost In The Night", because its theme of deception has captured my soul.

After facing 65 rejections, I began considering self-publishing. During my research, I joined various self-publishing groups and quickly became overwhelmed by stories of people struggling with Amazon guidelines and formatting issues, which made me anxious about the process. Then I discovered American Publishers. Jerry Stevens addressed all my questions and concerns, putting me at ease about moving forward. My Project Manager, Sam, has also been incredibly reliable. The production process is thorough, allowing me to make unlimited corrections, which gives me a strong sense of control over my manuscript. For these reasons, I highly recommend American Publishers to anyone navigating the self-publishing journey."
